24 Karat Live At Colchester Zoo – Trail Of Terror 2022

We were absolutely delighted to have performed at Colchester Zoo on the 29th October 2022. This event was part of Colchester Zoo’s “Halloween Trail Of Terror” and it was so much fun to have been a part of it! Arriving just after 6:30pm, guests were immediately subjected to masked monsters, rusting bushes and screaming scarers!

Once they had completed the course in staggered groups, ticket holders were treated to 24 Karat performing in one of a limited number “safe zones” throughout the zoo. Beginning the night at 8pm, we performed 3 sets of our usual great party music throughout the night to several different crowds as they made their way through the “Trail Of Terror.” We even learned “Thriller” by Michael Jackson and “Ghostbusters” by Ray Parker Jr especially for the event, just to add to the Halloween atmosphere even more! In fact, we enjoyed performing these songs so much, that they are now a permanent fixture in our repertoire list.

It was an honour to have been asked to perform at this event. We are big fans of Colchester Zoo here at 24 Karat, recognising that it is a big part of our hometown’s identity. We are even more pleased to count Colchester Zoo among our many recent clients, and were pleased to receive a glowing review for our efforts at the “Trail Of Terror.” Finally, as you can see from the images below, we were more than happy to take part in the Halloween dress up theme!

Colchester Zoo opened 1963 and will be celebrating its 60th anniversary next year. It is home to many rare and endangered species, including big cats, primates and birds as well as many invertebrates and fish species. Colchester Zoo is also a permanent fixture in many top 10 zoos in the UK lists. We hope to be able to perform here again soon!
